Ceramics on a wooden table
Ceramics, glass and cloth can change the character of a wooden dining table. Table setting and decoration ideas associated with The Mia Kalkan can inspire a new everyday rhythm without a major interior change. The starting point is the relationship between a few valued pieces rather than a large number of objects.
Selection and placement notes
View plate colours beside the timber tone. A patterned serving piece with quieter textiles can leave room for each material to be appreciated. Preserve useful space for dining and conversation. Follow the tabletop care information when deciding how to protect it; a decorative item is not automatically a suitable protective layer.
Projects in Kalkan and Kaş
An Aslan Atelier dining table can provide a lasting foundation for a setting inspired by The Mia Kalkan. When renovating a Kalkan villa dining area with Aslan Construction, consider lighting and storage requirements too. Decoration in Kaş and Kalkan does not need every piece to come from one collection. Texture, proportion and everyday habits create the personal character of the table.
