The grain of a tree holds the years it has lived. We look closely at those traces: the knots, the curves, the lines that never repeat themselves.

At Aslan Atelier, making is a way of giving form to what words cannot express. The story of a piece continues when it becomes part of your life.

The story we imagine for Nuru begins in these encounters. Light moves across carved surfaces, while every line in the wood invites you to linger a little longer.

Sashimono is a Japanese woodworking tradition in which wooden parts meet through precise joints. Its strength comes from the way each part fits the next.

This idea is at the heart of the approach we have chosen for Aslan Atelier: each part finds the whole to which it belongs.

The relationship between the joinery approach, form and use is explored during technical drawing. Final details are developed specifically for the piece.

Approvals, production scope, delivery arrangements and timing are discussed for each project. The schedule is confirmed once the design and materials are agreed.
