A shared material board
When material choices remain scattered across messages, it can be difficult to tell which decision is current. A shared material board shows walls, flooring, timber and textiles together. Starting with a small selection may communicate a clearer direction than collecting many disconnected examples.
Everyday use and selection
Label the intended location and decision status of each sample. An inspiration image is different from an approved finish. Where physical samples exist, note the light in which photographs were taken. Add dimensions and surface information separately when including Aslan Atelier furniture on the board.
Considering the whole space
A material board can support renovation discussions with Aslan Construction for a Kalkan villa. Clear version information is especially useful in Kaş and Kalkan projects coordinated remotely with architectural practices in Istanbul. Mark superseded samples when choices change. The purpose is to help a design idea continue coherently between furniture and architectural finishes rather than restrict creativity.
Let us consider the material and furniture choices for your own space. Share your design ideas with Aslan Atelier and your renovation and construction needs with Aslan Construction.
