Consider it together with the chair

A footstool creates a small but distinct area in front of a lounge chair. The timber base and slim cushion in the photograph make its structure easy to read. Consider the position of your legs, how much the chair cushion compresses and the distance between the seat and stool when you actually sit down. Comfort comes from the relationship between the pieces.

Try the resting position

When planning a resting area with Aslan Atelier, try the chair and footstool together where possible. The relationship between their upper surfaces can feel different according to personal habits. Reading, taking a short rest and looking at a view do not always involve the same position. Two pieces that appear coordinated in a photograph should also feel comfortable in the way you intend to use them.

Leave room to move

Decide where the stool will stand when it is not in use. If it must be moved every time someone passes, reconsider the arrangement. Plan the neighbouring side table and light around this small area too. For an outdoor piece in a Kalkan villa, keeping the cushion material and timber finish information makes later care decisions clearer and helps the resting arrangement remain practical over time.
