The upper and lower profiles of the Ardessa closed nightstand distinguish it from a simple drawer box. Allow for these projections in the layout. Even if the cabinet body fits, the tabletop edge may crowd a curtain, bed base or neighbouring piece.

In everyday use
If matching nightstands are planned, centre the bed within the usable space rather than the wall alone. Doors, windows and wardrobe openings may make the two sides different. Symmetry can suit classic bedroom furniture, but comfortable access at both sides should take priority over a perfectly mirrored arrangement.
