The effect in the room
On the Kavenor upholstered bed, a broad fabric panel makes the wooden frame read as a slimmer boundary. Looking only at a small swatch is not enough when selecting both materials.
Considering the arrangement
Pale fabric becomes more prominent over a large area, while a darker frame can strengthen the headboard outline.
In everyday use
If curtains and rugs already carry strong textures, a quieter headboard fabric may help. When using colour swatches, check that the photograph actually corresponds to the selected material. Screen brightness and room lighting affect perception, so a physical sample is useful when making a final choice.
